Our Thanks to Jeremy Lusk

Jeremy, words can not express how we at the Battlez FMX krew fell right now. You were down with the project from day 1 brother. Always willing to help promote, give feedback, hooking your little nephew CJ up for the video shoot. Whatever, you were down. Always with that smile.

The world lost a true american hero who made an impact beyond all measure. Just by the responses we see on the net, message boards, comments etc.. It is truly amazing, your impact is world wide. Everyone who ever came in contact with you felt the same. You were truly one of a kind.

There is a saying that it is  harder for those left behind, and it is times like these we realize that is so true. He called His Soldier Angel home and you now get to ride in truly heavenly places. We know we will see you someday. In the mean time, keep entertaining the fans up there, keep perfecting those tricks and keep making them laugh.

Our prayers, thoughts and condolences to the Lusk family. To his wonderful parents, His beautiful wife Lauren, his in-laws, Melissa his sister in law who took the time to keep us updated on Jeremy’s condition, all of them. They are all just beautiful people.

We all struggle to ask “why” during these times. Why do the good die young, why now, why him? We do not and can not answer these questions. What we can take solace in, is that Jeremy is home. He knew where he was heading and went in peace. To a place that we can only imagine. No more sorrow, no more pain.

It was an honor working with you and getting to know the Jeremy Lusk everyone loves. From the krew at Battlez FMX, we salute you with one big BRAAAAAAAAP!

RIP Jeremy Lusk

It is with great sadness that we report Jeremy Lusk succumbed to his injures tonight at 11:03pm PST. He was surrounded by his loving Mother and father, Chuck & Gina Lusk, his wonderful wife Lauren, his mother and father in law Lyne & Larry along with his closest Mulisha friends Brian Deegan, Ryan Hagy, Cameron Steele & Erik Apple. He is now with our Heavenly Father and is at peace.

We know he is performing sick tricks for all those in Heaven to crowds greater than we have ever seen. We will miss you Pitbull!

**Update what we have heard so far as of 8am PST 2/8/09:
-He made it through the surgery which was great because they only gave a 5% chance of that.
-They had to drain a hematoma from the skull.
-He has an enlarged brain so they could not close his skull back up, they have to wait for swelling to go down.
-The next 24 hours is critical, so please keep praying! He did get a fever but they are controlling that.
-The promoter has been great getting stuff organized for the family. Lauren and his family will have a phone line to update people from the hospital.
-It has been about 7 hours since the surgery. Some family is there already whole others are trying to get emergency passports. Please pray for favor in that situation as well.
-They are not even attempting to work on anything else right now, the most important is to  get him stabilized.

Please do not speculate on comments below. Please just leave well wishes and thoughts for the family. Thank you.

*** Update 12:30pm PST 2/8/2009
